Gavin McConnon
Co-founder
Gavin is a serial entrepreneur, having founded 5 companies. In 1995 Gavin started Eirnet, a dial-up TCT/IP Internet access provider. In 2000 Gavin co-founded Star55 Networks, a voice recognition software company. In 2001 Gavin founded Global Billing Solutions, a mobile content company developing billing relationships with mobile operators around the world. In 2006 Gavin co-founded Moviestar.ie, an online DVD rental company. In 2010 Gavin created boxPAY as a product of Global Billing Solutions, and later spun it out as a separate business.
Iain McConnon
Co-founder
Co Founded Moviestar.ie, Irelands online DVD rental company in 2006, won numerous awards, was first in Ireland to allow digital content, sold it in 2009. Co Founded boxPAY in 2011, a global mobile billing platform, allowing merchants to bill their customers through mobile operators in over 55 countries through over 220 mobile carriers.
Shane Connolly
Chief Technology Officer
With over 8 years of technical and commercial experience in the mobile industry, Shane oversees development of the boxPAY platform. Shane comes from a .Net development background with expertise in the Mobile Web and high volume SMS systems. Previous roles include Senior Developer with Red Circle Technologies, Mobile Web Development Manager with BetDAQ and Senior Developer at Gambit Group. Shane works out of the boxPAY Sydney Office.
Kyle Hitchcox
Product and Business Development | Global
Kyle manages product and business development efforts alongside the technology and sales teams. Originally from Vancouver, Kyle moved to Sydney to apply his experience in mobile advertising and payments to boxPAY. Kyle has since helped open offices in Dublin and San Francisco. He brings with him experience growing business in the MMORPG, online advertising, and PSMS industries. Kyle holds a Diploma in Marketing and a Degree in Entrepreneurial Management.
Andrew Wade
Carrier Relations | Global
With over 5 years experience working in the Telecommunications industry Andrew has worked in all aspects of the business. Previous roles include Content / Product Manager with Red Circle Technology, Senior Content Manager with Vodafone live Sydney before moving back to Ireland in 2008. Andrew has a wealth of experience in Online and Project Management and his main objective is to grow and establish boxPAY as one of the Worlds leading mobile billing solutions.
Amanda Keating
Marketing | Global
Manager of all things Marketing at boxPAY. Facilitating everything from global-scale trade shows, to managing all press and advertising, she makes sure to get the news about boxPAY out to the tech world! Utilizing her marketing agency background and experience working in North America and Europe, she has a passion for communication and a knack for discovering industry trends. She has her BS in Advertising from the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign and has studied at Dublin City University.
Paul Dunne
Business Development | Europe
With over 10 years experience in sales and marketing, Paul Dunne leads European Business Development for boxPAY. Paul deals with our top-tier clients and helps them integrate with the boxPAY platform. Paul has a background in the Telecoms industry and has been involved in a number of successful start-ups. He has a Diploma in Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Ireland and works from boxPAY's Dublin Headquarters.
Aaron Nobles
Business Development | USA
Aaron leads US business, responsible for partner growth and product evangelism. Aaron brings early stage integration and strategic development experience across social media, publishing, and consumer web partners. Prior to joining boxpay, Aaron led business development efforts at StumbleUpon, focusing on revenue growth and user acquisition. Aaron is based out of the boxPAY San Francisco office.
Richard Middleton
Business Development | Africa
With multiple years experience on the mobile trade and holding several crucial roles with leading mobile companies in Africa and Globally, Richard provides invaluable insight, experience & leadership into the African market. With Africa fast becoming the focus of world trade in many economic channels and in particular Mobile commerce, as this unlocks un-unbanked population in Africa, Richard will look to further cement the boxPAY in the region as a household name.
Shane McConnon
Client Services
Shane has had over 10 years experience in the Mobile payment industry worldwide. His experience in started back in 2001 where he worked for American Express in their front line Merchant customer relations. He then took up a role in Global Billing Solutions Dublin, and then moved to Sydney in 2007 to help with the setting up and running of Global Billing Solutions Australia base. He is now back based in Dublin, working with boxPAY as their lead Account Executive.
Kiran Shah
Senior Technical Lead | Europe
Kiran Shah is the Senior Technical Lead at boxPAY in Dublin. He is responsible for application architecture, development and everything technical in boxPAY Dublin. He has more than 10 years experience in the web/online space both technical and non-technical including setting up an online recruitment advertising business start-up venture in the past which is a useful blend for boxPAY. He has his B.Comm (Bachelor of Commerce) from the University of Mumbai, India.
