San Francisco Outside Sales Manager

Position Summary:

Position is open to candidates located in San Francisco.​

This position is responsible for growing and executing sales strategies that complement boxPAY’s growth into the United States.​ In particular, you will use your internet research and sales skills to prospect for new clients within your specified vertical, present the boxPAY platform, negotiate payout terms, and close deals.​

Successful applicants possess an entrepreneurial spirit, have prior experience in outbound sales, and are capable of delivering excellence in a fast-paced environment

Key Accountabilities

  • Continually prospect for new high-potential merchants and introduce them to the benefits of boxPAY through various outbound sales efforts.​ This includes cold calling.​
  • Liaise with the sales and marketing team to ensure new accounts gain traction quickly
  • Represent boxPAY in the field, while building and maintaining an intimate knowledge of industry developments, revealing new trends, challenges and opportunities
  • Constructively negotiate payout terms and rates with new merchant partners
  • Report on activities and related results in a manner that helps the team understand the effectiveness of your efforts, and grow the business in an optimized fashion

Key Competencies

  • Confident on the phone and enjoys the thrill of a sale.​ Strength in outbound sales with a proven track record
  • Understanding of technology trends, web payment solutions, and a strong knowledge of online business models are essential.​
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), very comfortable on the phone
  • Exceptional sense of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to plan work to meet deadlines, especially when faced with competing priorities

Education and Experience

Account Manager

This position is based in Dublin Ireland.

We are looking for a winner who can multitask across several departments and thrives when challenged.

As an Account Manager you will work with the Technology and Business Development teams to build and grow key relationships, assist merchants with technical enquiries and account set up, and be involved in marketing and business development efforts.

Senior Developer C#.Net/ASP.NET

We are seeking a talented software developer with over 4 year’s commercial experience to work in a small development team in the relaxed environment of our Dublin office. The ideal candidate will be an expert in C#.Net, SQL Server, as well as experience working on high traffic sites.

Your primary role will be working on exciting new projects which are being built using the latest technologies (ASP.Net 4, MVC2, and Entity Framework in .Net 4.0). You will also gain experience of the existing web and billing platforms. We are looking for a dynamic person who can take on various challenges where necessary.

Group Financial Accountant

boxPAY is seeking a Group Financial Accountant in our Head Office team in Dublin. As part of a small but growing team the successful candidate will be required to manage the consolidation of the Group’s business units across a number of locations. The role will be challenging and will offer exposure to senior managers within the business

This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Accountant

This position will have full responsibility for the accounting function for the Irish company and reports directly to Director level in Dublin. There are currently no positions reporting into this role so responsibilities are broad. An excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant to learn and grow with the company.

The Role:

  • Responsible for the day to day accounts processing and financial ledgers.
  • Prepare full monthly Financial Accounts, reporting packs and variance analyses for the company within prescribed deadlines.
  • Look after extensive on-going group reporting requirements.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare year-end audit pack and liaison/assistance to the external auditors in the production and filing of Statutory Accounts and annual tax computation and return.
  • Prepare payroll returns.
  • Assist with external local compliance – Accounting, Invoicing, Corporate tax, Indirect taxes, VAT/PAYE etc.

The Person:

  • 3+ years of Accounting experience in a commercial environment.
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA).
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency Excel at advanced level.
  • Problem solving ability: Good analytical skills: Proven ability to be detail oriented and to possess understanding of the ‘big’ picture. Ability to produce results in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience in a multi-currency accounting environment.

Database Administrator

We are looking for a highly skilled SQL Server DBA to join our technical team in the relaxed environment of our Sydney CBD office, on an initial 3 month contract. You will be responsible for analysing our existing SQL Server 2008 databases and design and implement measures to improve performance, reliability and scalability.

Carrier Relationship Manager

boxPAY leading mobile messaging and payment company, seeking a Carrier Relations Manager to manage mobile operators and aggregators worldwide.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage relationship with mobile operators at all levels, including commercial, technical, operational and financial issues
  • Improve commercial position by increasing payment outpayments and minimising bulk messaging and other costs
  • New business responsibility including expanding coverage and increasing new routes
  • Engage with regional trade bodies such as MEF, GSMA
  • Early communication of market trends and compliance requirements to internal teams
